Best Emerging Practice Award

The Ontario Association of Architects Best Emerging Practice award is created to recognize the contribution of young firms. These practices have a clear vision, goals and proven effective strategies that provide a competitive advantage.

The award was based largely on the following criteria: creative, professional, client and business strategies supporting the overall goals of the practice, including indicators that strategies are working, such as awards or recognition received, new or unique business opportunities undertaken, the savvy use of media and marketing, creative approaches to skill development and professional development, unique client services, innovative resources for clients, and client testimonials.
