'Compromise & Collaboration in Design', Dave LeBlanc, October 2010
For his Architourist column, Dave LeBlanc visits Dubbeldam’s pull.push.slide.pivot.lift.tilt.turn installation at The Harbourfront Centre, part of the Building Partners’ exhibition. The installation, with bold instructions inviting visitors to directly interact with building components, is intended to convey that architecture is a collaborative process: “[Visitors] will leave with an understanding that decisions made with an architect have real-life implications that result in how a space…will be experienced,” LeBlanc writes.
