'Best of Canada', David Lasker, July/August 2006
We’ve been featured in the Best of Canada Awards edition of Canadian Interiors Magazine for our winning projects, Beach House and the Gladstone Hotel Room. The Gladstone room won the award for Lighting: the room’s continuous band of lighting stands as a contemporary strategy to incorporates all elements stated within the design brief, while retaining the room’s existing historical structure and cozy atmosphere. One juror noted about the design, “To use an important word that we haven’t heard often enough this afternoon, it’s innovative.”
