Principal Heather Dubbeldam launches Twenty+Change: Emerging Talent Edition in conjunction with Canadian Architect Magazine with open call for submissions
Principal Heather Dubbeldam has launched the latest edition of Twenty+Change: Emerging Talent in collaboration with Canadian Architect Magazine, inviting submissions from across Canada.
Twenty + Change is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to fostering the exchange of ideas and promoting the work of a new generation of Canadian architects and designers.
The previous edition, Twenty + Change: Next Generation, marked the fourth installment of an ongoing exhibition series aimed at showcasing emerging design practices in architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design. Selected by a curatorial committee comprising prominent educators, authors, and practitioners, the exhibition featured projects from thirteen Canadian practices. These projects engaged with the public realm, introduced innovative models for collective living and urban infill, championed sustainability and vernacular craftsmanship, and explored speculative and self-initiated commissions.
