Principal Heather Dubbeldam invited to speak at the University of Aberdeen School of Architecture in Scotland UK on sustainable design
Principal Heather Dubbeldam has been invited to deliver a lecture at the Robert Gordon University’s Scott Sutherland School of Architecture & Built Environment in Aberdeen, Scotland. Established as one of the UK’s oldest architectural institutions dating back to the 19th century, the school is renowned for its innovative approach integrating cutting-edge technologies and contemporary practices in building design and construction. Emphasizing social responsibility and research, it is dedicated to fostering sustainable and forward-thinking architectural solutions that address present challenges while anticipating future needs.
Heather’s talk, titled “The Next Green: Innovation in Sustainable Design”, will explore our firm’s research into sustainable architecture, based on our latest Prix de Rome win. This research project exemplifies our commitment to exploring cutting-edge sustainable design strategies that integrate environmental stewardship with architectural excellence. Heather’s presentation will showcase how Scandinavian firms are leading the way in creating spaces that are both aesthetically compelling and environmentally responsible, and how these principles can be applied to the Canadian context.
