Heather Dubbeldam as keynote at BLOXHUB in Copenhagen

We’re pleased to share that Principal Heather Dubbeldam delivered the keynote at Crossing Over: Danish Architecture in Canada, Canadian Architecture in Denmark, a discussion hosted by BLOXHUB in Copenhagen.

The event brought together architects and design leaders from Canada and Denmark to explore opportunities for knowledge exchange and international collaboration in addressing shared challenges facing the built environment, including climate resilience, housing, sustainability, and urban development.

Following her keynote, Heather joined Nanna Maj Stubbe Østergaard of SLA and Audun Opdal of 3XN/GXN for a panel discussion moderated by Lars Emil Kragh, Deputy Director of the Danish Association of Architectural Firms.

The conversation brought together perspectives from both countries and explored what we can learn from one another in shaping more sustainable, resilient, and innovative approaches to design and development. It was a valuable opportunity to connect across practices and continue the dialogue between Canadian and Danish architecture.
