Principal Heather Dubbeldam delivered an engaging presentation as part of the Public Lectures on Architecture Series, jointly hosted by the Kitchener Public Library and the Grand Valley Society of Architects. Her talk explored groundbreaking advancements in sustainable design based on our firm’s research in Scandinavian countries, renowned for their pioneering approaches in sustainable architecture.

The presentation expands on our firm’s ongoing research project, “The Next Green,” which focuses on sustainable architecture and innovative green design principles in Scandinavia and their application in our northern climate. It aims to integrate nature with urban living by incorporating green spaces, energy-efficient systems, and eco-friendly materials into architectural designs, thereby creating healthier environments for residents while minimizing environmental impact through thoughtful design solutions.
