Our office building featured in Azure Magazine’s Façades Issue!
Our office building has been spotlighted in Azure Magazine’s Facades issue, written by editor Kendra Wilson. The article focuses on our transformative renovation, illustrating how well-designed architecture can catalyze change and positively impact a neighborhood.
Wilson highlights the initial steps of the project, beginning with expanding the windows to create natural ventilation and bring ample sunlight into the interior. She also emphasizes our efforts to preserve the heritage of the building’s brick facade while adding a contemporary twist. Wilson writes, “A trompe l’oeil of drop shadows falling in different directions adds a unique characteristic, an effect that further contributes to Dubbeldam’s intentions: to establish a ‘landmark that people recognize and reference when talking about the neighbourhood’ and to prove that urban renewal is achievable when considered gestures contribute to the mix.”
