The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Coordinator with a passion for design and architecture to lead marketing and communications efforts at our studio. Working closely with the Principal and Management Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to strengthen our brand, promote our work, and support business development. This includes the creation of project and firm marketing assets, managing brand collateral, executing our social media strategy, identifying new opportunities, and preparing proposals and pursuit materials.
What You’ll Do
The role includes a wide range of marketing and communications tasks, such as:
· Developing and implementing marketing strategies for the studio, its projects, and initiatives
· Producing marketing materials including brochures, press kits, CVs, presentations, and award submissions
· Managing the firm’s website and executing social media campaigns
· Supporting business development by identifying opportunities and creating strategies for client engagement
· Leading proposal development, including content creation/writing, layout, and sub-consultant proposal coordination
· Managing media relationships, preparing press releases, and seeking media coverage
· Coordinating the studio’s participation in industry events and assisting with speaking engagement materials for the principal and senior team members.
What You’ll Bring
· Minimum two years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the AEC or design industry
· A passion for design, architecture, and sustainability in the built environment
· Strong work ethic and willingness to play an active role in the growth and culture of our practice
· Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is essential
· Education in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design (an asset)
· Strong graphic design skills with solid proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy and quality
· Digital marketing proficiency, including experience with social media platforms (Instagram/Facebook via Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter)
· Experience managing a website (WordPress CMS experience is an asset)
· Confidence to engage and communicate with business contacts around the world.
